Little Nettle Soft is a unique blend of Fine Merino and nettle fibre. Fine Merino creates a soft, lofty yarn with plenty of bounce and character. Nettle is a sustainable plant fibre that comes from the Common Stinging Nettle plant family. Long white fibres from deep inside the stem of the nettle plant are extracted in the same way that linen is extracted from the flax plant. The Nettle fibre doesn’t take up dye like merino does, resulting in a silky finish to the yarn.
