Let’s Talk About Socks

Knitting socks is such a satisfying project, and the techniques are endless. In this workshop we’ll look at sock-knitting from all angles, starting with yarn selection and needle configuration. We’ll discuss the difference between toe-up and top-down, and even consider the afterthought heel. This workshop is designed for those who already know the basics of knitting socks and want to expand their repertoire. There will be plenty of opportunity to work on your own sock project during and after the workshop.

When: Saturday, Feb. 22, 1 PM – 3 PM

Where: Bayside Brewing Co., 970 Ross Lane, Erieau

Cost: $15 – fee is waived if you buy your yarn from www.knitsewwell.ca

Materials needed: Bring your own sock project. I will have yarn and needles from the Knit Sew Well store for purchase.
