Let’s Make a Musselburgh

The Musselburgh hat is perfect for those who have already knit a hat in the round and are ready for a more challenging project. It is written for multiple gauges, so you can start knitting the hat with whichever needle size feels comfortable for your knitting style and the yarn you’re using. This hat can be knit on four DPNs, two circular needles, or magic loop. I will have examples of each technique on hand. We will work on cast-on techniques, increases and decreases, and techniques for determining if you have the right tension for your yarn choice.

When: Saturday, Feb. 1, 10 AM – noon

Where: 259 Talbot St. E Blenheim

Cost: $15 – fee is waived if you buy your yarn from www.knitsewwell.ca
Materials needed: heavy lace-weight to DK-weight yarn, up to 600m/700 yds and your choice of needles.
